Senior Associate, Political Due Diligence

Global Counsel is seeking a Senior Associate to support its growing Political Due Diligence (PDD) practice. PDD is the core of our wider mid-market private equity work. We produce detailed reports assessing risk and opportunities around acquisitions, including recommended mitigations, based on a mixture of documentary research and qualitative interviews. The role is based in London, but we will consider applications from people who wish to work remotely, if they have the right to work in the UK. We cannot sponsor visa applications.

This role provides the opportunity to work across a broad range of UK public policy and political issues for a wide range of clients, including corporates in the FTSE 100, the Fortune 500 and significant investors. The successful candidate will have at least three years’ relevant experience, either in the British political system, a similarly rigorous business advisory/consultancy or think tank, and/or experience of working in a Government Relations team.
