Hafsah supports clients in the MENA region, providing policy, project coordination and investment promotion support.
Hafsah is an Associate at Global Counsel. Hafsah holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and Politics from Queen Mary, University of London, and a Masters degree in Middle East Politics from SOAS, University of London.
At GC Hafsah supports the Global Macro and MENA practices, with a focus on policy, project co-ordination and investment promotion. She works with colleagues across the GC London and Doha offices to support clients in Qatar.
Recent examples of her work include:
- Providing a Qatar government entity with a fortnightly overview of competitor action in the region, by closely monitoring policy developments and trade investments in the Gulf, in areas of strategic interest to the client.
- Analysing the shifting role of Gulf states in the geopolitical sphere, in light of current crises, and understanding how this may impact clients in the region.
- Establishing lifecycles of investment promotion outreach to companies in sectors of interest to clients.
