Matthew is GC’s senior adviser on health and life sciences. Matthew joins GC having had an impressive career to date in both the UK’s NHS, where he was national director, and at the Department of Health where he was senior policy adviser to the Secretary of State, as well as having worked globally as a senior vice-president for a market leading healthcare IT company.

He has also been appointed as joint chair for North West London Acute Hospitals, which includes Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

At Global Counsel, Matthew supports clients in health tech and pharmaceuticals and advises clients in adjacent sectors including social care and medical devices.
