Saskia is an Associate Global Counsel’s UK politics and policy team. Prior to joining GC, Saskia worked at the Social Market Foundation think tank in Westminster. Before this, she was a research assistant for the Commonwealth Local Government Forum where she focused on policies surrounding women in local government across member states.

She holds an MA in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews. At GC, she monitors and provides analysis on political and regulatory changes in UK politics and their impact on clients across a variety of sectors.

Recent examples of her work include:

  • Assessing and monitoring policy developments across the nuclear and renewable energy sectors.
  • Generating detailed briefings on the policy priorities of UK political parties and key politicians.
  • Helping create an engagement strategy for an international software and design company.
