Mohamed leads GC's work in Germany and advises clients navigating complex regulatory environments with a focus on mobility, technology, and competition policy.
Mohamed serves as Global Counsel's Director for Germany. Mohamed established Global Counsel’s presence in Germany. Before GC, he founded a boutique consultancy focused on tech and mobility policy. Before that, Mohamed worked in-house in the tech and automotive sector and at a Berlin-based digital policy think tank collaborating with the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport. Mohamed has worked in the Government Affairs, Policy, & Advocacy team of a leading strategic communications consultancy in Berlin, where he advised clients facing critical challenges in the tech, energy, and automotive sector. Mohamed studied law in Berlin and London. He was a Fellow of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation and Google’s Berlin-based tech policy multi-stakeholder platform Collaboratory.

- Advised a client on public affairs and strategic communications on an investment decision for a site in Germany that required developing an EU response to the US IRA.
- Conducted a due diligence in the German insurance sector on commission caps.
- Advised a US EV charging company on its German market entry.
