Ramesh has worked in senior communications roles at the highest levels of politics, regulation, and the private sector. He draws on nearly two decades of experience to advise and execute for clients, as they navigate media, political and policy landscapes.
Ramesh is a Director in the Strategic communications practice at Global Counsel. Over the last fifteen years, Ramesh‘s career has taken him from Westminster to the Financial Regulator, running communications functions at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and Blackstone (BX) in between. Ramesh was Press Secretary and Special Adviser to the Chancellor, George Osborne, during the coalition years. He became Head of Media Relations at LSEG, before joining BX as Head of Communications in Europe. He then was appointed Senior Adviser to the CEO of the Financial Conduct Authority. Most recently he was a Senior Adviser at Lexington Communications.
At Global Counsel, Ramesh works across different practices supporting clients on corporate communications and positioning, transactions, crisis communications and reputation management. He works closely with clients and colleagues to ensure corporate objectives align with, and benefit from, political and regulatory dynamics.
