A campaign to advocate for gigabit-speed telecoms networks

Overview

One of the world’s leading digital infrastructure companies wanted to broaden support for investment in, and deployment of, gigabit-speed telecoms networks. They wanted to extend their network outside stakeholders in digital regulation, who they already knew well, and build a wider network of stakeholders in economic and sectoral policy.

Work

We delivered an integrated campaign anchored around a series of webinars with key policymakers and industry representatives, aimed at audiences in Paris and Brussels. The events were supplemented by written and audio-visual content produced by our team.

Impact

The client built new relations with a key sectoral stakeholder group for joint advocacy in favour of gigabit-speed telecoms networks. The client also significantly widened their network across the EU institutions, laying the groundwork for future engagement on telecoms policy.

A thought leadership campaign on the future of sustainability in the meat industry

Overview

Our client wanted to find a way to involve and engage with a diverse group of stakeholders in developing policy recommendations for how to make the meat sector more sustainable.

Work

We delivered a series of interactive virtual events linked to the United Nations Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) to foster debate and discussion around solutions for improving the sustainability of the meat sector. We identified relevant stakeholders, developed an interactive agenda with break-out groups hosted by leading experts, and facilitated the write-up of the results as input to the UNFSS discussions.

Impact

The client was recognised by the UNFSS for its valuable contribution to the debate and used vritual events to develop opportunities to engage with new stakeholders.

A series of events on the UK’s levelling-up agenda

Overview

Our client wanted to cement their reputation as a thought leader within their industry, in particular on the question of how the private sector could help policymakers meet the challenges of developing UK regional economies and boosting inward investment.

Work

We helped our client bring together a group of senior individuals from business, policymaking and academia to discuss how the private sector could help policymakers meet the ‘levelling up’ challenge. Our teams pulled together a series of events bringing together a group of senior individuals from business, policy and academia for debate and discussion, moderated by GC experts.

Impact

As a result of this work, the client demonstrated their convening power, and their ability to engage with policy topics central to their core work. Their profile was raised with policymakers and their peers and they strengthened pre-existing relationships with their clients.
