H.E. Ahmad Al-Sayed and Lord Mandelson inaugurate Global Counsel’s MENA office at Msheireb

H.E. Ahmad Al-Sayed, Minister of State and Chairman of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA), and Lord Mandelson, Co-founder and Chairman of Global Counsel, yesterday inaugurated Global Counsel’s new office in Msheireb, Downtown Doha.

Global Counsel is a strategic advisory firm that supports international investors, corporates, and government agencies on high-value investment decisions and business development in the region.

The office opening has taken place during Lord Mandelson’s visit to Doha where he has been meeting senior Qatari officials and key stakeholders across a wide range of sectors in the interest of strengthening Qatar partnerships and supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030.

Commenting at the inauguration ceremony, H.E. Ahmad Al-Sayed, said:

Lord Mandelson added:

Global Counsel’s new presence in Doha is its fifth international office and first in the Middle East. Global Counsel offers strategic advisory consultancy to corporates, investors and governments, helping them to explore opportunities and manage risk in politics, policy and regulation.  The full Global Counsel team numbers around 100 full-time consultants who have a background in public policy, business, academia and think-tanks.
