Harri supports clients navigating issues surrounding sustainable finance regulation and the emerging political tides around it.
Harri is a senior associate at GC, with a focus on the sustainable finance agenda. He has spent the past four years working in Government's Inclusive Economy Unit, where he has driven forward the impact investing agenda by building collaborations between public and private sectors to unlock capital for environmentally and socially impactful outcomes. Before that, Harri led policy research projects across a broad range of areas, in addition to working in development loan finance. Harri is also a trustee of a charity based in Sierra Leone.
At Global Counsel he chiefly supports the financial services and climate & sustainability policy practices, with a direct focus on sustainable finance regulation and the emerging political tides which surround this.
Recent examples of his work include:
- Advising a global investment firm on comparative analysis between EU, US, and UK sustainability regulations.
- Building a political engagement strategy for a major insurance company with a focus on climate solutions and green finance.
- Assessing and monitoring the emergence of global alignment around sustainability disclosures, and how this might impact companies operating across many jurisdictions.
