HOW WE HELP CLIENTS
Title
Quantifying political risk
We support clients to understand the commercial implications of political risks and opportunities. Using our in-house expertise and global network of policymakers, we conduct in-depth due diligence research projects to provide timely commercial advice in relation to investment decisions. Given the heightened nature of geopolitical risk, our UK oriented advice increasingly draws on Global Counsel’s cross-jurisdictional and sectoral expertise.
Title
Evidence-based strategy
We develop strategies for clients who want to engage with regulatory and policy change, building on our insight and analysis products. This includes stakeholder audits to ensure clients are engaging the right decisionmakers in the right places with the right messages; strategic planning to ensure engagement is timely and impactful; independent convening through conferences and roundtables; and in-depth research and authorship of advocacy collateral.
Title
Regulatory insight and analysis
We interpret UK political, policy and legislative developments as they happen. This work draws on our experience of working in politics, government and regulated sectors, and the interplay between them. Specific products include briefing notes, deep policy analysis in relation to a particular sector, regular and flash calls to responding to events, and integration into policy engagement strategies.
Title
Thought leadership as a route to market
We build on our insight, analysis and government relations work to provide a unique commercial advisory service to drive market entry, diversification and growth strategies. We help our clients build a political brand to elevate conversations with partners; developing a presence with policymakers; and building a reputation with private sector clients and collaborators.
