Major events and convening

GC teams in London and Brussels prepared a comprehensive 140-page briefing book for the senior team of a multinational blue-chip corporate with individual programmes for each delegation member, briefings for bilateral meetings, talking points, corporate narrative and background materials. We also facilitated two high-profile panels on how business can navigate geopolitical crises for a prominent WEF strategic partner with a pavilion on the Promenade, taking care of various aspects of the events – from liaising with speakers and moderators to providing compelling and well-sourced narratives for the discussion.

GC produced an original report on public attitudes to the metaverse, including representative polling, as well as interviews with thought leaders, across the US, UK and France. To launch the event in London, we hosted a series of panel discussions and in-conversations with thought leaders, senior policymakers and regulators including Melanie Dawes, Chief Executive of Ofcom and Roger Taylor, former Chair of the UK’s Centre for Data Ethics and Innovation. The panels discussed the findings of GC’s research and its implications for emerging technology regulation.  

‘The Politics of’ is Global Counsel’s flagship annual conference on the key issues that will define the political, policy of regulatory developments of the year ahead.
