Alexander previously worked in the OECD’s regulatory policy division in Paris as well as at a global strategy firm in Washington DC. He has over a decade of experience working on US political campaigns at the national, state and local levels.

Recent examples of his work include:

  • Advising corporates across sectors on the risks and opportunities stemming from US trade policy, including US-China tensions, the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) and the EU-US Trade and Technology Council (TTC) as well as domestic legislation impacting the cross-border supply of critical raw materials and electric vehicles.
  • Working with a food and beverage manufacturer to prepare for Brexit-related trade disruptions and regulatory divergence, adjust supply chain operations and engage key policymakers to continue serving customers in the EU, Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
  • Collaborating with a UK trade association to produce and roll-out a thought leadership strategy paper as a tool to offensively shape the political narrative around government efforts to develop trade and investment policies for the sector.
